Bell Schedule: Grades Pre-K-5th  8:10-3:10

Enrollment & Class Schedules: The school houses approximately 300 students in grades PK-5. Holston View has 1 preschool class and typically 2-3 homeroom classes per grade level. Students participate in one special area class per day (Art, Library, Music, PE, STEM, and Guidance) 

Historical Background
Holston View Elementary School is one of five elementary schools that feed into one middle school and one high school in the Bristol Tennessee City School System.

The building was constructed in 1971 and was designed to promote teacher collaboration that is enriched by an open classroom environment. The school has a tradition of excellence receiving the National Blue Ribbon Award in 2007 and recognized four times as the State of Tennessee Reward School recognition for being the top 5% in achievement among Tennessee Schools four times in recent years.  Click HERE for a list of awards and recognition.  

Facilities
Holston View School's current facilities, completed in 1971, includes 5 pods (A,B,C & D), an art room, a music room, a school counselor's room, a cafeteria with a stage area, a gymnasium, a library/media center, a teacher's lounge work area, an office with a clinic area, and several storage areas throughout the building.

Parking facilities are available curbside in front of the building and in the parking lot around the circular drive of the building. Students enjoy an outdoor basketball court, 2 tennis courts, 2 baseball fields, a soccer field, softball field, 4 playground areas, a picnic shelter and a solar pavilion large enough for the entire school to have an assembly outdoors.
