The mission of Bristol Tennessee City Schools is to ensure students are ready for college and careers through academic excellence. To do that, we emphasize personalized learning, which is instruction that is paced to individual student needs and tailored to individual student preferences and interests. We want instruction to be student-centered to encourage and develop their thinking and problem-solving skills as well as to nurture their creativity

The laptop provided for students in grades 4-12 is only one tool of many that they will use. However, it is an important one that provides students with a wealth of resources other than just the teacher and textbooks. It provides a platform that our teachers can use to engage students in real-world, relevant activities and projects.
